Just put a gash in my thumb and was thinking about how often I injure myself.

2 months ago I got a 3" laceration in my calf while mountainbiking too. (I'll post pics later, it's seriously NSFL). What are some of your worst injuries?

 

Got bit in the face by a German Shepherd. Eight stitches on my cheek and under my eye and glue to close the hole in my eyelid. Lucky I didnt lose my eye.

To contribute, worst injury so far was having a sharpened wooden dowel pierce my chin about 3/4" deep.

I've had to get stitches 7-8 times, I've lost count. The worst was I almost tore my ear off going through a windshield. What else? Broke my nose and knuckles in one waterpolo game, my hand looked like a blown-up rubber glove. Have a nice scar on my elbow from nasty coral on north shore when I though I could surf it.

 

I currently have the ring of fire.

broke my right leg twice
Cut off the top of my right "ring finger" with a bending chair.
stitches on my forehead by hitting a curb.

There were others but i forgot

When i got older

Got a bottle smashed on my left hand and just bled a lot
sprained a finger

 

Damn! haha if you wouldnt mind i would like to hear the back story, i know you were mountain biking but how exactly did that happen? I sat for a minute and thought what might take a clean chunk like that but couldnt think of anything. did it affect your muscle at all?

 

My little brother has one Just like it. His... he landed a huge jump. Snapped a crank and the crank went through it.

 

I went snowboarding and got ran into at the end of the day and broke my left elbow. Went a month later with scoo b* to northstar and was cruising through the stash, clipped the front of a wood rail and supermanned over the rail and snapped my collar bone. Had a 4" pin put in and had my second surgery 9 months later for it to come out. Being in the hospital sucks

 

In February my house cough fire and I jumped from the second story and hurt my foot pretty bad.

In the last two years alone: Fractured elbow, fractured toe, two or three sprained ankles and strained knee. All from skateboarding.

 

My worst was my car accident. I broke my femur. Clean break. I had surgery and they put a titanium rod in my leg, so no cast at least. However, it still took me 3 months to learn to walk again.
