Is getting a resonator installed worth it???
Is getting a resonator installed worth it???
I have a buddy club exhaust that sounds like a damn Harley. I have a silencer that quite's it a lot. But I know I'm sacrificing a lot of power. I heard resonators help lower the noise level plus it doesn't decrease horse power. How long should the resonator be??? Thanks for your help guys.

yea i am also interested. Also with a resonator in will it just lower the sound level but keep the same sound charteristic or will it completly warp the sound to something else.

it depends how loud it is. If yours is harley loud then i would get a resonator right away. Id rather have a good sounding exhaust and not get pulled over rather than a car that sounds like a harley. A resonator will of course not flow as well as a straight pipe but most exhaust on the market come with resonators.
