Why are they wasting their time on this fugly rwd crap when they should concentrate on a badass small awd turbo 2dr hatch that can now compete in the WRC, now that's what i've been waiting for. Rally, Subaru, rally, not joint Toyobaru wannabe AE86 ****, drifting is sooo yesterday man. I want total power under control. Imho it's a bad business move for a company specialising in awd+turbo setups, vital things both missing on this new abomination. It ain't STi for sure, more like Tokyo Drift. Oh well, 06 forever then...

While I don't really like 2 door cars, this might bring new folks into the Subaru brand that are also enthusiasts. This, in turn, could help convince SOA to bring over/back the vehicles "we" want (Legacy GT wagon, Outback XT, Subaru Exiga, etc.) that SOA has discontinued or refused to bring over outright.

One of the problems with that "wish" is that Subaru would have a hard time in the WRC because their traditional 2.0L flat four layout is no longer allowed. The regulations that were forthcoming (1.6L inline engine, etc.) at the time of SWRT's pullout made their decision that much easier.
