bring your jeep. hell ya.
some of these rallies have had trucks, rental cars, etc... although this rally is really more of an "i-club" event, a jeep is totally welcome.

The front halfshaft boots are shot, so I want to get new axles. My g/f has already said she thinks we should totally take the car off road (it's mostly her commuter) so I think we could do that as long we get get the axles in. I just put in new struts yesterday.

I rented a PT Cruiser last w/e. Found a few "short cuts" on the way back from Yosemite and returned it this morning nice and dusty!

End of October ... there's always a chance I'll have my own car by then. If I do, I'd love to come along.

Ok everyone NOT bringing a Subaru. After speaking with my partner and re-reading the rules i realized that this event is a SUBARU ONLY EVENT. sorry to anyone that i may have lead to believe the opposite.

But next time we throw a dirt drive in the future close to the bay you'll be welcome.

Haha.. Nice! The outer boots on both sides are seriously trashed, and I have no idea how long it's been like that (would estimate a year at least) so I am just gonna replace the whole axle units. My bro-in-law found 2x and they look right, so I need to get some new pins (just in case) and we should be good. I put my struts on and now the car is nice and smooth @ 80mph when it was scary @ 60 before. Nice! This thing friggin rocks. MTL seems to have been a great band-aid for the crunchy 2nd gear too.
