I was wondering if anyone can help me??? I have istalled my invidia downpipe but it is leaking where it connects to the mide pipe has anyone got any ideas of what i can do to fix this, sealer? i used the gasket that came with the pipe and it is F-------G leaking, should i use an OEM gasket? i know that the old piece that joined on had a circular piece on the flange, maybe this is the problem. can anyone help?

 

dont use that donut gasket when you mate the stock catback to the aftermarket dp. It will most likely leak a little bit because of the different style flanges.

 

i didn't use the donnut gasket. I just put some high temp gasket sealer and it seems to have done the trick! for now that is

 

I just put in my HKS uppipe and didn't get a CEL? Nearly everywhere i looked i was told i would get one? was i lucky?

 

the cel won't light up right away. Just go out and get a resistor from radio shack now so you wont have to reset your ecu when the cel does appear.

 

I had my HKS uppipe on for like a year and that CEL dookie finally popped up. I fixed it a few days ago. If you need a resistor just for later let me know quick before I throw them away.
