what kind of driving do you do? I do a lot of city driving in S.F. so lot's of hills. Lots of stopping and starting on hills actually... not good for the mileage.

It seems that my MPG almost doubles when I drive on the freeway.

plus, and I don't think I'm crazy here, my mileage is worse in the winter.

So, I get around 200 if it's all city and 350+ it it's all freeway...

I'm gonna buy me a GEM for the city

Interesting this topic was brought up on the tire board.

On my old 205/55/16's RE92's, I got roughly around 300 - 330 miles on a full tank before the yellow light pops up

Using 225/50/16's Yokohama Db2, Im getting around 250 miles on a full tank before the yellow light pops up.

Bone stock internals except for calipers, rotors, pads, and ss brake lines.

This car is my commuter car. Its used for everything. Bay Area Driving mostly.

I get 230 miles to 10 gallons of gas. I fill up my tank when it is at 1/4 tank remaining.

normally 19-21 mpg, my commute is all surface streets.
I average 20-23 from the bay area to Tahoe with passengers and a box full of snowboards on the top driving in excess of posted speed limits, but within reason...less than triple digits rarely hitting 90.
I got 26 mpg once on the freeway without a box or bikes on my Yakima cross bars...and I had the cruise control set at the 65 mph.

Try running 800cc injectors. The mpg ain't pretty.
