the same thursday, the same cop pulled over my friend with a yellow type-r for modified exhaust, took pics, and hasseled him at hot augest nights.

so i was on my way to school this morning cruising at about 30ish on san ramon valley bvld near bank of america, then a danville motocycle cop follows me to a little past andronicos and pulls me over for a modified exhaust. tell me to pop open my hood and calls 3-4 other danville cops. they were all pretty nice but ive got to see a smog referee for the fix it ticket. they took picture of the mods again.

i couldnt believe they were really enforcing the modification law in a small place like danville.


im still debating if i should part out the mods and put it back to stock or swap them back. just another heads up to be aware that danville pd is enforcing it

It's the EXHAUST!!! I have been followed 4 to 5 times so far through danville had 2 flip around on me. I am all stock and was driving at the limit thank god. All they could do was run my plates and eventually broke off around San Ramon border.

If they cant HEAR you and your driving legally they cant pull you over. But any sound of a MODDED exhaust and they can jack you just to check. Then they POP the hood. PICTURES are for there file on you. IE: go back to stock, get ticket fixed pay fine whatever. Then go back to mods and they pull you again and compare pics???? The fines will be out the ****!!!!!!

yeah, dude, i live in danville, sometimes, i wish it wasnt so yuppy, and some real crime would happen, so these lame cops wouldnt pull ppl over for cars and j-walking.

 

Ya i grew up in San Ramon and Graduated from Del Amigo class of 89' thank you very much. It was even worse back then. By the time i had hit 11 points on my DMV record pretty much between SR and Danville i had to learn how to make them and me happy. took some time and a whole butt load of cash to figure it out, But DONT GIVE THEM A REASON and they cant jack you. Cause when they do your SOL every time.

 

i hope they dont get me. So far since moving to danville ive only been pulled over once and i was going the speed limit when i passed by the cop but i had my windows up (35% tint in the front) He just told me to remove it and let me go on my way. If i get state ref ticket though im going to be pissed.

 

Don't put illegal mods on your car and you won't have to worry about the ref.
