Pretty much spot on. All names will be flat white ...recognized names will have a gold star affixed next to them.
Once we're moved into the new shop, final assembly will begin.

This is an amazing idea and action.

Maybe Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America could rate some space on your machine. Their mission statement focuses on assisting with returning vets with their transition when they get home. From their website:

"IAVA is the country's first and largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization for veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has more than 200,000 Member Veterans and civilian supporters nationwide.

We are a 21st Century veterans’ organization dedicated to standing with the veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan from their first day home through the rest of their lives. We strive to build an empowered generation of veterans who provide sustainable leadership for our country and their communities."

I've donated to them the last couple years. They're a good organization doing great work. If you'll make some space for them I'll make a gift to them in your honor ...just a thought.

All the best with this Paul. Semper Fi

The decision not to accept any contribution was made to ensure complete control over the livery of the vehicle, which is the primary reason for her existence; limited space on the car for names, sponsors, etc. Hell, "DBTuned" won't even make onto the car.
The team has turned down tens of thousands of dollars in "sponsorships" simply because the vendor demanded too much real estate on the car.

I offered space on the 24' trailer and tow rig, but it made no financial sense to do so.

Now, after her maiden season, depending on how the car is received and how the team finishes, sponsorships, contributions may be accepted.
