So I'm taking an American Politics class and my teacher is a Lawyer. One of her great friends is the head of (or super high up in) the FBI in San Francisco.

So they are on Pier 39 and pass the shop that sells embroidered shirts, hats, etc. and in the window is one that says "FBI" and my teacher said she was just praying her friend didn't notice it, but she did.

Her friend goes inside and asks to see the FBI hat and the clerk hands it to her and says he can put FBI on ANYTHING she wants. He says he can embroider anything on anything (he's doing this without the consent of the owners of what he's embroidering). She doesn't say anything to him but within 5 minutes the FBI is there arresting the owner and boarded the place up.

 

I thought they were supposed to let the "little fish go so they can get the big fish later" haha, at least thats how they do it in the movies!

 

haha, we gave our teacher crap for her friend calling in a swarm of FBI agents. We went "so how much did that cost me rather than just telling him to stop?"

Yeah, I think she could have just had the local PD come in rather than the FBI, I don't think that was completely necessary.
