I don't like Compound Bows. I like recurve, 30-45 lbs draw rates.

Hey you got an archery range near you? I only shot recurve but I always wanted to try cross bow & compound bow.

If you can get me started I might be interested

Me too. Except 120-180lbs draw!

First you get all Zen.
Second you use your whole body to draw it.
Long bows often have a high lb rate draw.
If you can bench press 220 you can probably draw a 100lb bow.

The best part is that if you can only draw 30lb, you can prolly draw a 120lb about 6 inches, and the arrow will fly just as far as your 30lb. Heh.
Look out when you can do a full 24 inch draw though.
