FS: Archery stuff

Anyone here into archery? I got the following for sale.

1. Barnett pistol cross-bow. Upgraded to 75 lbs. bow, cocking stirup, 3-shot rotating magazine with 3 aluminum bolts. $100

2. Browning Black Night compound bow. 31" draw, adjustable up to 75 lbs., Cobra 4 - pin sight, 12 aluminum arrows with broadheads and field points. $150

I don't like Compound Bows. I like recurve, 30-45 lbs draw rates.

Hmmm......compounds are cool too.....maybe I can set up a target and you can try it out.

Hey you got an archery range near you? I only shot recurve but I always wanted to try cross bow & compound bow.

If you can get me started I might be interested

Me too. Except 120-180lbs draw!

As far as an Archery range near my place, I don't know, except for Solano community college. I usually do my practice in my yard. Or an open, remote field. If anyone wants to try it, and learn the basics, that can be done.

First you get all Zen.

Second you use your whole body to draw it.
Long bows often have a high lb rate draw.
If you can bench press 220 you can probably draw a 100lb bow.

The best part is that if you can only draw 30lb, you can prolly draw a 120lb about 6 inches, and the arrow will fly just as far as your 30lb. Heh.
Look out when you can do a full 24 inch draw though.
