What's the point of writing and speaking if it's sloppy? I've been trying to hire someone here and if I get a resume with spelling or grammar errors it goes in the trash. The person I am looking for needs to be detail oriented as config files and such are even more picky than me about being correct. You can't say you will write configs and scripts in a detailed fashion but just not care about English - the two go hand in hand and tell a lot about a person. It blows my mind how many people in the professional world write at a 4th or 5th grade level...

There's so much bad info and incorrect "facts" out there these days - why not take pride in your work and abilities?
