I don't see that much wrong with this. Whiteline makes subframe locking bolts for Impreza's (http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/ins...B750_draft.PDF).
The less bushing flex, the stiffer the chassis feels.

The Honda things scare me, they remove the crumple zone and effectively transfer all bumper impacts all the way through the chassis to something with flex.........like the driver

yeah it's not like we're talking about welding subrame connectors to the bottom of our chassis, like teh mustangs, guize....

FWIW, I have the rear subframe lock bolts on my car and the only thing they did for me is increase the driveline noise that gets transferred in to the car. I still have the second gear thunk and just as much drivetrain slop as I did before I installed them.
