My mom got the 2012 focus, I hate driving it. That thing is a mush box. The tranny (auto) is either set to "bog" or to "over rev"

I believe this is due to the dual clutch transmission which is apparently a new thing for Americans to get used to. I believe they are revising this either as a mid-year change or for next year due to the drop in Consumer Reports recommendation.

How does the current 2011-2012 gt500 handle? Ive always wanted a newer mustang since they redid them in 2011 but they seem to big and heavy. Never driven so I have no idea.

Looks great, and I know the new mustangs handle a lot better now. Does that have a track key so you can unleash more ponies?? Lol

Yes, the dual clutch being a bit clunky, and the MyFord touch needing some serious software revisions. Lucky the latter is already being rolled out to dealers, the DCT is maybe a software thing, maybe a fluids thing. Also know the Boss 302's don't like to shift when they are cold. A guy I work with has one, basically he just drives around in 2nd gear for the first 5 minutes or so until the fluids warm up. Other than that the Boss 302 is dreamy, which would make this 650hp GT500 a B-E-A-S-T. ZL1....you can stay on the shelf.
