Hey Mike... when you retired the L I say we modify the aero and you hand me the keys and I'll hand you my will. I bet the L can do a 220mph pass with the right gears.

 

If you can wrestle the keys off Gary next year you can run it at Bonneville as it will be there in August!

I have been 154 on a bike, ive gone 122 in a VW bug (drag), I have even done a 9 second quarter mile (70 Nova w/blown 454 pushing 200 shot of nitrous)...but that kind of speed...just...jaw dropping.

 

Same here. I've driven up around 170 before and it's gnarly. I've always wanted to break 200. A know a guy with a couple red patches and I am very jealous.

9 second quarter is gnar. Fastest car I've driven ran 10's but I never personally drove it that hard.

When you start talking about damned near 300 mph in one mile. That's serious business.
