wait those are kragen ones? that is a really blended pattern
i must have pencil beams because when you point mine to the ground even within 30 feet, you see a crisp oval of light with little blending. I got them for free, im pretty sure mine are the kragen 500's but i want a pattern like your for cornering.

haah i thought about that for a minute, but who in their right mind would WANT stockers?! what...to light up the first 10 feet?

unless foglights made fog disappear...your gonn be driving the same speed in any fog...fog lights or no fog lights.

mine are from ebay hella 500 amber fogs. Fog and pencil beams are different.

Fogs

Pencil

Driving

keep in mind, in the picture of mine, that ground is sloped and the car was also at an angle

i know mine are the 500's but kragen only carries the "driving" pattern maybe i will buy the fog pattern to help my blind hairpin cornering at night

i would get the cornering pattern but all those lights are either larger than 7" or cost more than $300

my $70 lights are even to risk for some low life to rip off and sell on the internet

the fog pattern helps a lot with lighting to the sides

Alright, you all talked me into finally switching out the fog lights on my car. I've had a set of Hella 500's that have been sitting on my mustang in the garage for 6 years now. That car isn't going to move anytime soon. So, I bought the kartboy brackets and will be installing them. Seems the easiest way to do that is to just cut the stock harnesses off and use them with the hella's.

i dont understand the kartboy brackets...how they even do anything at all, its a solid plate with some holes in it!?!!! what connects...say the hella...to the kartboy plates (my hella has a smooth back, so there are now ways of holding it on by anything other than super glue!)

mine mounts straight through the hole i drilled in the bottom of the bumper

Flip the mounting stud 90 degrees toward the rear of the car and it fits into the hole in the bracket. It's just a cleaner install.

oh makes perfect sense now. too bad i already drilled the hole!

I like how in the kartboy install section, they tell you to take the whole bumper, headlights and grill out to install some fog lights, im not that hardcore.
