Flash Light Geeks: What kind of flashlights do you use most often?
4sevens is having a huge sale on the Q5 bin nitecore lights (not as bright, less efficient) - http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/sho...d.php?t=201166
Any of them are awesome. This one is like $36 with the 30% off - http://www.4sevens.com/product_info....oducts_id=1710 and runs off of a cr123 lithium.
Target has a series of lights called Rock River that aren't bad. I really like the form factor on the 2C cell LED that they make. Much smaller than a 2C Maglite. Not too small that it will get lost. Built well. Cheap, easy to source batteries. I will be lending my parents mine for their upcoming vacation. c-cells last forever powering an LED. Supposed ~130 lumens. It's around $30, but if it's on sale, can be had for as low as $11.
You might want to consider something that takes lithium batteries even if it just double A's if it just going to be sitting. They won't self discharge so you won't be without light in an emergency. If you are going to be using it a lot, I would go with the Rock River 2C and check your batteries every once in a while.

they have one for 44$
Killer deal for a monster light. All you need to do is get a glass lens and a G4 bi pin socket.
