fishing and crabbing spots?

hey guys, my friend and i want to start fishing and crabbing for the summer. where are some good fishing spots around the bay area?

or where can you go catch crabs (i know someones going to say something stupid) lol. i remember as a kid i dont remember where it was but like we went crab hunting where they were on the shoreline rocks and what not

Haven't been too great the past couple of years, but I go crabbing off of the pier on the end of Van Ness in SF.

berkeley pier has mad crabs yo! grab a net and fill 'er with chums you'll have dungees out the ears.

lots of rays and leopard sharks too

Aren't dungees illegal to be fished off of piers? Thought only rock was legal?

dungeness are illegal if caught inside the bay (pier or not), but if you go past the gg bridge its open season according to local the local police. then again, its not illegal if nobody sees
