First Suby Ticket
Got my first ticket tonight on the way home from my girls friends house up north.
+1 for the Prodrive exhaust looking stock and not getting me a fix it ticket and +1 for the hwypd not looking to see if I have a front plate. He also gave me the ticket for 75 in a 65 anyone know what that will run me?

He didn't get a modded exhaust ticket. But modded exhaust tickets because it's illegal (too loud) and police and highway patrol are trained to look for things like modded exhausts.

chp look mainly for melon-shooters and tag those guys with modded exhaust tickets, but if you catch a cop on a bad day he'll pull you over for anything that doesn't look stock (i've heard of wrx owners getting pulled over for their hoodscoops, etc etc etc.)
is it just me or has the price of infraction tickets gone up? i got a ticket from a bike cop for a red light right turn at de anza and it was 398 dollars. my friend got one 6 months before and it was 2-something.

10 over in a 65 is pretty minimal, unless you've had a ton of tickets in the past i'd show up in court, they may let you off with a deal. if you've got a "history" well, then you probably know the system better anyway.
well i was goin up boarding in tahoe and i got pulled over. for 81? in a 65. and no front plate because my car is debadged and he had to ask me what kind of car i had. i should have told him it was a civic. harr harr jk. well yeah that ran me $275 with the fix-it ticket fixed. [+1 for zipties!] yeh. it was 8:10 AM and he caught me going 81..... IN TRAFFIC! thats bs. but im going to fight it, and theres a 40% chance that the cop is too lazy to fine me guilty and i get my money refunded. well so says ticketasassasin.com you should try it.

UP north
It was up north near humbolt. I was doning around 80ish and the cop was ice and only wrote me up for 75. He seemed like a nice guy and just doing is job so I wasn't going to give him a rash of @#it. I'll try that ticketassins.com and see what they can do.
