haha, never seen that engine oil drain valve...good idea.

Believe me, it's EXPENSIVE to mod an STi, but once you do...you KNOW it's well worth it.

i got it from 1stsubaruparts.com, there was a thread a few weeks ago about someone asking where they find the license plates cheapest, and there it was, i got them for 30 bucks.

and exhausts are too annoying to me. yes they are cool and you get attention, but i love the stock sound. my car has only about 3k on it so hardcore modding will come later when i get a job.

and yeah the sti is a great car.

yeah the fumoto drain valve is great. people on i-club as well as nasioc and everywhere else praise this thing, and since i plan on taking meticulous care of the car, i figure this would be a good investment. it makes oil changes easier, all u need to do is turn the **** and u drain your oil.

When has a license plate frame been considered a mod?

They dont leak, and dont get near the ground. Great product. I have run one for almost 2 years now.

well mod means modification, and modifying means changing stock parts for aftermarket ones, ie parts that did not come with the car. the license plate that came from the dealer was stock, the new license plate i bought "after" market, so therefore it is a mod. what is a mod to you? something that brings performance? something that cost more than 100 dollars?

It's actually more of an accessories than a modification. In terms of modification, usually, it is refered in performance. By modifying, you change an exisiting part for the purpose of gaining more power, achieving greater handling, better stopping power, etc. Accessories are more of a show or fashionable items such as the items you've bought. It's got nothing to do with power or performance.

But hey, call it what you want to call it. People in here just seemed to be mislead or disagree or what not, since it has always, or commonly refered to the characteristics of a car.
