I think mine was tinted windows..if you call that a mod.

It has gone in this order.
Windows, painted skirts/mirrors, stereo system, 17's.

next will be rear sway and new suspension.

If I had to do it all over....beyond the visual stuff. I would have done wheels and suspension before the stereo stuff...or at least only done half the stereo stuff so I could do the suspension sooner. my suspension is the the suck. very noticeable with new wheels/tires.

If I could do it all again? I would have done none of them and gotten an LGT or STi. The wagon is only about 4 months old and for the price in mods I've done so far(lots-o-suspension and cobb stg 2.5 with sti non-ra gearset and JDM Sti Headlights sitting in a box) I could have had a better car to begin with and think I could have been happier.

then you wouldn't have a wagon. And you wouldn't have all the mods.

Of course you can buy better cars to start with...but then if you end up modding it you spend more anyways. and besides...you probably would have to do suspension mods on the sti for it to handle as good as your modded wagon....and the Ra gears..

let me know if you sell and trade in....I need wagon suspension goodies..lol.

Did I mention that you wouldn't have a wagon.

I'm thinking about getting an LGT imited wagon, but I used the STi as a gauge for performance since the go mods made me comparable or slightly faster than an STi. Right now my decision is mostly based on getting old, as bad as it sounds, I need a automatic(I got in a bike accident a while back and have two pins in my knee, which never bothered until I got the WRX lol), and while I'm at it I figured I'd step up a notch. I bought the WRX wagon somewhat spur of the moment and out of fascination, but with a painful knee I'm regretting it a bit, so far the stick is my biggest problem, but as I mentioned I thought I'd get more room and leather out of it while I'm at it. I bet an LGT with similar mods that I have on the rex would be a scream

Not to mention tampering with boost can void your warranty. =x
Whoever told you this only told you part of the story. An MBC alone is not a good idea to run on a WRX because of the PTFB issue. There are devices (namely the Open Loop Manager) that fix this issue and allow you to run any form of boost control you like.

As far as voiding the warrant, pretty much any power mods will void it as well.
