More along the lines of over-loading the work, giving mega-***** work, or just asking "hey maybe you should look for another job"

do the office space thing and just stop paying them like milton lol. But arent people less likely to cause a problem when they get fired on friday or is it monday?

lol. Last time I had to fire someone, I did it on a Saturday to ruin their weekend trip to Tahoe. I hated that person.... haha.

I work for a nation wide medical providor in the accounting dept at the corp offices in Novato. I had two employees that weren't cutting it but, were really trying. But, the whole department was suffering. So I did what I had to do and let one of them go with the other to soon follow.

The real crappy part is that the person I fired yesterday happens to be my good friend's brother's girlfriend. I happen to be the best man in my friends wedding this spring where my ex employee will be in the wedding as well. How's that for a sticky situation. So, it made it that much harder. Oh well, I guess business is just business.
