Firing People Sucks
Had to fire someone this afternoon. I gave the whole, "I'm going to have to let you go" speech. Going to have to do it again next week as well. It's all related to job performance so it has to be done because I have to answer for their actions. But, it still sucks.
That's all.

Tough thing to fire someone but if they are not up to scratch then you gotta do it.. Just keep it professional but man it does suck, most people know though when they are going to get fired and if they don't then they really have the heads up their ......
gotta hate firing someone.
i just usually end up putting someone on the 4 hour plan until they decide to quit themselves... or come to me and ask me why they getting **** hours... and thats when i get to tell them to shape up or ship out.

yeah..my company rarely fires people..its a long process to cover their *** to avoid wrongful termination lawsuits
instead they try to "persuade" people to leave on their own
