Well first thing is they'd need to get rid of 3/4 of the motor, and at 4000 lbs, this thing probably won't be too quick even with a highly tweaked and turbo'd 1600cc 4 banger

^ The Ferrari is also to long. It'd have to be subcompact size to compete.

Those are two reasons....there are about 563 others. Ferrari will N-E-V-E-R be in WRC. Read NEVER. Pronounced Ne-VER. Alternate definitions: not ever, not going to happen, put down the crack pipe.

AKA: That car is too big, too heavy, too fugly, and too powerful for WRC (as already mentioned). Not to mention Ferrari is a super car maker, not a maker of economy compacts.

Maybe when Ferrari starts making hatchback sub-compact cars

^^^ the 2.0l 4 banger requirement alone will stop them.

Not to mention FIA rules require the car to be raced must come from the factory as a 4 door and be sold in mass volume, something like 10k plus units.

Honestly, you'd spend all that money on building an arsenal and having a tank and an armored personnel carrier...

...there's no way you'd spend the money on something like that.
