a lot of females play video games, and they aren't all hideous or overweight, just gotta get somewhat lucky!

 

haha better than me.. man i gave up on that game. I was kind of hopeing it would be like diablo 2.. but nothing like it.

True, but if you were hooked up to a network (signed into an online account), I would imagine MS and Sony would probably be smart/greedy enough to see if multiple tags/serials were being used on a console and ban it. But that would really only hurt those who game online...UNLESS next gen consoles came with self destruct mechanisms...

 

So did she, she was like "Snaps! I finally killed Diablo" and then I explained that was technically the end of the game...she was disappointed and stopped at Normal. So I'm trying to get her to start a character on Borderlands 2...she likes "loot" games.

 

+1 for borderlands 2, try to get 2 more people to join in, the more the merrier!

there is a ton of cool side quests with pop culture references (teenage mutant ninja turtles, doctor who, top gun etc), and the loot system is so much better than D3's

I'm too afraid that ninjas are gonna come out of the ceiling and kill me if I do anything for "free", so get everything legit. And since I work for the govt, it makes answering questions background checks easier.

 

I always was a fan of Sony, but damn this is ridiculous! I'm glad I sold my PS3 months ago.

 

Yea definitely hurts for those that want to do it the legit way. But you'd think this move would only generate more revenue if they dropped prices of games down to 5$ for **** games. I mean once madden 14 comes out, whos gonna want to pay 60$ for madden 13 right?

If anything I see this pushing more people toward PC gaming where games are real cheap when they're not brand spanking new and you can always borrow your friends old diablo2 cds to play even when he gets bored of it for free.

Either way this move will definitely put Gamestop and like places out of business. Cash in your stocks now haha.

 

I think there is a misunderstanding in this thread... This anti-used game measure is supposedly for the PS4 (or later) and NOT the PS3.

Why do I say so? From what I have read, most sources indicate that it is for the PS4, additionally, the technology seems to be based on RFID tags or NFC, both of which require new hardware within the console units. Hardware that doesn't exist in the PS3.

So yeah.
