Fellow PS3 owners: Sony may stop second hand gaming!
Thoughts, feelings? If this is as bad as my brain is telling me, I may be switching to Xbox.

I knew this reply was bound to show up. I've always been a PS3 fan boy (since FFVII was exclusive to the PS). I always heard the better quality of gaming that Xbox put out... But this may just finally get an Xbox in my home. And it seems that lots of game DLC comes out in XBL before PSN, and I'm an impatient man...

i just feel like ps3 has better single player games and xbox has a better multiplayer lol. No need to bring in the console war, but in the end pc wins all lol

I dunno, Sony just stopped manufacturing PS2s, so there is still a market for older consoles. Especially those who like to play their favorite older games when new consoles don't have backwards compatability.

What I gathered from his comment was "Sony is banning the trading of used games? I'm going to microsoft instead!" but maybe not.

Yep, I still have a grip of PS2 games that I doubt will make the PSN (the Xenosaga trilogy). And I used to have my old 60gb model that was backwards compatable... Until like an idiot, had my wife ship it out to me in Afghanistan and have the internals melt in the hot afghan sun... So I bought a PS2 just for my older games.
