It's paid for. With life the way it is you'll never have the money to start over. Trust me.
Don't sell it, I promise you you will regret it. I nearly sold my caddy a couple times and I think about it now and I go man... I'd never be able to put together the "spare" money to buy another one and start over. And if I could I wouldn't feel right about it.
Doesn't matter what it's worth. Don't sell it unless you're taking every damn penny and buying another "toy/project" with it. Period.

either way if you are going to sell it I'd go ahead and get it as nice as possible. If you just sell it lazy style then you will be sad down the road you didn't get as much money out of it. Basically the best way to screw yourself because you will not be happy you got rid of it and then you will not be happy on whatever you spend the money on.
If you are serious I'd think about that stereo and doing any small things that need to be done then try to sell on here and 2.5rs maximize what you already have.

I dont think you guys would cut the speaker wire harness going back to the door seal as it does come off one large bulk harness that also goes to your window switch. Im sure its just unplugged lol.

I've asked myself the same thing before when people wanted to buy my car lol! Every time though I can never come up with a number, just been way too much done to the car to account for even beyond a mod list that I could put together. Even thinking about it now its crazy that I can say I've had a swapped & BAR'd rs for 10 years! Time has seriously just flown by faster than I could ever imagine.
Honestly I'd just keep it unless someone waves a **** ton of cash at you that is just too good to pass up. I know you don't get to drive it much but you have it paid off and a place to keep it as well, smog isn't bad other than swapping a downpipe. I'd agree with Ray that if you get rid of it you WILL regret it, and since my car is similar in a lot of ways I KNOW for sure I'd regret it if I sold mine... even if I got cashed out fat lol! Think about it, that car is part of who you are and has surely gave you a lot of enjoyment, challenges (and pain!) as well as helped create some awesome friendships in the subaru community over the years. I think if you sold it there would come a day not too long after that you'd be dying to be back in the drivers seat of that thing wanting to experience a car that's been dialed in with years of custom work done to it.
Thinking of my rs for example, looking back there just so happened to be the right chain of events that fell into place that has got my car to where it is now. I think that all happened at the right sequence and time that it was just meant to go down that way. I don't feel like I would have enough time / energy / money / dedication these days to start myself all over again from square 1 with a stock rs and somehow replicate what I have now... there's just no way it would turn out the same... which is why I can't let go of mine.
Maybe just make a point to drive it a little more often each week, or let me take it for a spin lol! And who knows as your kids get older they'll be off visiting with their own friends, going to summer camps, school, working etc... so you'll still have opportunities to drive the car.
That's just my 0.02, but this is also coming from a guy with no wife / kids haha... anyways sounds like you're not in a huge rush so I'd def think about it for a long good while before making a final decision.

Drive it once a month on a late night donut run or something. That's all you'll need to remember you can't do that in the suburban.

This car is a ton of fun. Well sorted and easy to drive. Really one of the most fun cars I've had the chance to autox. Shoot I'd buy it if I had the space for it haha
