F1 and MotoGP on FOX and CBS this Sunday!

Just a reminder that there will be some F1 and MotoGP racing shown on regular broadcast TV this Sunday! I don't have Speed Channel (or whatever its called now) and I'm to lazy to source vids from other places, so I'm super stoked that I get to wake up Sunday and watch real (albeit boring) racing on TV.

Looks like F1 of Montreal starts at 10 AM on FOX and MotoGP starts at 10:30 AM on CBS. Both are tape delayed, but I don't care... I'll take what I can get! I used to wake up at 4 AM to watch F1 on ESPN 10+ years ago.

I'll miss the Speed commentators, Matchet, Windsor, Hobbs and Varsha are the best team out there, even better pundits than in England

Fox normally gets some 'celebrity who once drove a racecar' to call the race.

That's what's going to suck about these races. If they end up using someone that doesn't even know who the drivers are. I sometimes wait for the reruns on Speed and watch it again.

Speaking of celebs, I love Michael Jordan's reaction when Valentino Rossi (back when he wanted to switch to F1) took him around the track in an M5. Jordan looked like he was about to have a heart attack.

Sato can drive. Brits hate on him for no real reason. He'sok when he's go a good car just like anyone else in F1. If you make it to that level you gotta be a bad *** driver.

Now, I think a ride with Alonso or Schumacher would be crazier.

I LOL'ed at that. It's true, All british F1 fans that I know think of Sato as a joke...he did so much crashing for Jordan and Honda his reputation is tarnished.

He gets the last laugh now though when he spanks his British teammate Davidson week-in week-out...

I'm still pissed that Sebastian Bordaise hasn't got an F1 seat..

He wasn't fast in a Torro Rosso, at least, not as fast as I thought he would be. I think he'll be in F1 next year though. Speed is doing well, and getting healthier. Liuzzi i think will get dropped.

I'm enjoying Ralph getting spanked race after race by Trulli.....very amusing. He'll be lucky to have a drive next year.
