It had better be a damn good course, and not one of those modern day snoozefests with no chances for overtaking. Still would rather see a SF GP through GG park.

It's about time that America got it's own purpose-built track. I wonder who's paying?

Saw this earlier today, pretty excited. Wonder if Mr. Miller will ever get his wish of having F1 at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah....

As far as Texas towns go, Austin is pretty tight actually. U of T-Austin and A&M are in Austin, so there's a good night/party scene there. The caveat is that you have to trade rednecks with guns for rockabilly organic vegan hipsters, possibly with guns.

A lot of that is leaving with bernie at the end of this season though. I dunno if the amount of rain had to do with anything thus far, but the 2010 F1 season has been great!

It would not be fun being out there in the middle of the summer, unless it was a night race, but night races suck unless it's a road course like Singapore. My hope is that they do it in the early summer, that way Austin would be in full swing with graduation/end of school! The partying would be epic! Lord knows motorsports in the US needs a boost in hype. And yes, BAIC caravan would be epic. With the requisite stop in Vegas, of course.
