F*ing thieves

Yesterday someone stole my jack out of my garage. Oddly, they took my oil containers with the used oil in there too... and nothing else. Guess they really needed to change their oil.

Anyway, EFF YOU thieves.

Sharia law got this one right, cut their hand off.

Also maybe they needed to borrow the jack and disposed of the oil to return the favor?

Yeah, but they kept my two 15qt oil pans. I change my oil and all of my kid's cars too, so I drop off at O'Rileys a lot lol. They left the two small containers and other items untouched. Doors were closed but the side door had marks.

Yup. The two hardest things to carry out. Not like they were walking around with my jack, it weighs 90 lbs. It was during the day, so they may have been interrupted.

As one goes along the thought experiment of "Well if I had to steal, I would..." you realize that a life of low level crime truly does not pay, and that these folks are not that bright.

Sucks man, my sympathies.

Yet they would serve the most jail time with heaviest penalties...while the white color folk that embezzle billions get a slap on the wrist and retire to a country without extradition.

Sorry to hear that dude, but I guess good thing they stopped there and didn't go inside the house or physically harmed anyone.

My jack got jacked too. Along with all my tools. I've slowly rebuilt the basics back. But I still need a jack, ramps, a few of the specialized tools I had for my caddy and for the suby and a torque wrench.

'murica.

Come to think of it Ray, someone stole my ramps a while back too... After months of sitting outside, as I was moving someone made a move.

I still have my ramps, they were locked up in a cabinet. Jack is too heavy for cabinet.

At the other house my whole roll away was rolled away. But that was covered. This jack was not a cheap one (Omega 3 ton) but it is less than my deductible.

Yeah, those who choose to be selfish and dishonest usually get their payback because they do live this way. While I get that, it still irritates me that some idiots are like that and that I probably won't BE THERE when they get their payback.

I didn't file either. Had they stolen the bike they were in the process of stealing when I got home I would have filed. I had a pretty good list of tools going but it was going to be hard to get paid out on them so i didn't bother.

if they were caught while doing this, they would have been home in time for dinner.

How so?!

My girlfriend/wife be like..."Officer, he pulled a knife/gun/metal object and told me he was going to rape me and daughter, gut my hubby like a pig then steal my rims using my own jack. And I swear he was high on something!"...while crying her eyes out.

Seconded. Evidence can be planted, crime scenes stages and/or bodies buried. I highly doubt the perp will be missed at any board meetings next day.
