They definately have a different feel over stock or any organic clutches, more of an on/off kinda feel. If you're interested we have one here for sale that was installed for a very short time, it's practically new.
I'm sure that didn't sound too good. The customer upgraded to a 6 spd so the clutch got replaced at the same time.

I wasnt happy with the hyper single or my twin plate, the stock clutch did fine for me till I was over 330 ft/lbs, if you think you need more than that just get an exedy stage one(30% over P-plate/organic disc) and be done with it.

ACT stage one(whatever they call theirs) is basically the same as the exedy stage one, heavier pressure plate and organic (stock) disc. the stages go up from there with the same P-plate and different style discs. Try to pick one based on the turbo your going to run and torque it will be making, running more clutch than you need can make driving your car alot less fun, TRUST ME

Yeah Ive had the JDM 5-6 gears in my car for about 2 years now, I think I was the first person to install them in a US tranny, yeah its great! though remember, the reasson they shorter in japan is the max speed limit over there on the highways is 50 MPH!!

so they are a bit buzzy if you cruise around on the freeways at 70+mph. 75mph is 3250rpm, about about 400 more than stock USDM 6th, but passing on the freeway is soo much easier!

i love my hyper single, once you get used to it. the shifts you can make with that clutch are much quicker and precise. also, its SUPER stiff, so no one else can drive my car

the bad: you need to work-out your right leg by itself to keep both your calf muscles the same size
the ugly: don't even think about handing-off the keys to some kid to park your car (CRUNCH TIME!)
If you can live with the trade-offs of the last two, the first one should be incentive in itself.

Friggin 40kph (25mph) speed limit on the lower roads and 80kph (50mph) on the highways....but mostly it's short term parking with sporadic movement every 5 minutes for 5 feet, then you park again.

Depending on what car your you have (I am assuming STI for this response) I would recommend the ACT 6 puck over anything that Exedy offers, better pedal feel, better clamping force, easily replaceable and much cheaper than any of the single or multi plated setups.
