Our STi IS a spec C with AC, and a couple other "luxury" mods. Everything is the same, except we have a 2.5L.

I heard several Spec C suspension bits are different...someone from teh east coast here on i-Club ordered the springs, def. stiffer...Spec C also has diff. subframe, etc.

I'm pretty sure our STi has Spec C suspension (Minus smaller front sway bar, and a few other tiny bits).

But as far as the suspension geometry goes, Spec C.

if they offered it with a/c, i'd be all over it. i don't need the big wing, or anything really flashy. i'd much rather have the front LSD than the wing. it's too bad that they elected to delete the ABS and HID as well though, both of those are (at least in my opinion) worth the small weight premium over the items on the RS.

i hope that this will make Subaru follow suit, and build a spec-c type ra for the US market. as far as i'm concerned, the more factory hotrod AWD cars being sold out there, the better.

my only concern is that they got rid of the ABS....IMO...99.9% of the ppl that buy these, or any car for that matter, does NOT know how to effectively drive a car WITHOUT ABS. ppl just got used to the fact that they can just mash on the brake and the car stops....well, if someone gets one of these "hotrods" and has never driven a car w/out ABS, nor understands what ABS really does to effectively stop the car in adverse weather conditions (especially), that is gonna be a bad situation...they will mash on the brakes and realize that the car IS NOT gonna stop....I think it will be a potential accident waiting to happen if the car is not respected in that sense. I have a feeling that we will be seeing quite a few of these cars smashed up on trailers due to that fact.
