Euthanasia (what is an ethic defensible decision)

I'm formulating an argument for a debate on euthanasia. Can you guys give me your personal opinions on this topic. Serious Replys Only PLS!!!!!

and why personal freedom.

Would personal freedom apply to him if he was suicidal?
What if the person was mentally ill?
Would he be validated on his rights if he wanted to?
Would his family have rights to him?

Please guys im asking for support for your statements that you make. An answer is not valid without supporting factors.
