nice car!!! that's my dream car.... but TERRIBLY over-priced. Especially because 510s are project cars.. I don't care how clean the interior is, because I'd change all of it

 

Yeah, i wouldnt pay that much for it, but its still pretty awesome. I wonder how much it costs to import them?

Heh.. It's not a 510. It's a Bluebird. If someone bought it and ruined it like you say you would, that would be sad. Look closely - the roof/body is different from the B pillar back. More sloped backglass. Very rare, very awesome car. I saw a thing on one in Australia that had all 300ZX running gear, but from the outside it just looked like that, but black, lower and w/ 300ZX 5 spokes. Amazing.

yeah... my bad... don't know what i was thinking... definitely not a 510. But it's still a project car in my eyes....
I don't know who in their right mind would buy that car for so much money... but I'm not one to buy a car because it's "cool" or is rare.

Well, it did say 510 in the ad so I could see that, but I think he did that because most people wouldn't know what a Bluebird is.

I hear you for the most part, I have never cared about matching numbers and all that - I wanna DRIVE it, not just stare at it! I have a friend tho who has a '95 FD R1 RX-7 in his livingroom, under a cover, w/ 200 miles on the clock. So. They are out there. Heh.

Just looked at those - holy cack those are sweet. I had a '68 510 for a while but it was nothing compared to those.. Fun car tho.

I'll sell you my 510 project car for 500 bucks......just gotta get this title thing settled.

 

The Datsun Bluebird was merely the JDM name for the 510 2 and 4 door sedan sold here in the 'States.

However the Bluebird SSS coupe was a JDM only version with hopped-up parts and unique sheetmetal and glass.

I would love to own one of these...super rare!
