EQ Tuning Track Day 2 - Thunderhill - June 1st!
#235
Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us make this another great track event! We all had a great time an can't wait for the next one. Best of all, no bent metal and no blown motors . The weather was also just about as perfect as it gets. Great day all around!
Thanks

Damm that was a GOOD time!!!
Had a great first track day! Great way to get on track for a novice like mahself... I'd recommend this to any first timers. Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone I met there!
EQ should do this more than once a year!
Saw some cool rides there as well. Three hachi's right next to me in the paddock! Loved the 2.5RS I followed in one of the sessions with dual cameras. Saw a SICK White STi swapped bugeye. (THANK YOU John for the gallon of methanol mix - you saved my afternoon!) Had a great time following and leading Travis' WRX in the sessions. (Good cool down laps included lol.)
Shot some video for the sessions but will have to edit it down as some of it was a little bouncy or had reflections from the windshield. First time with a cam in the car and will have to work on the mounting points for next time.

On that last session, there was this rs I couldn't catch, so I just figured he had a swap.
And I also wasn't even able to break 90mph on the 15->1 straight in which I had been well over 100 the whole day. So I figured thde car was tired, so I pulled myself off the track.
On the way home, no power, no wooshing, no swooshing... oh well...
I do have an 18g here at the house, but can I put that on with stock fuel pump and injectors, if not I need a td04

Were you in the blue wagon? Thought your car sounded good when I was standing on the stairs at the clubhouse when you flew by on the strait away.

Thanks Ed & Sonia for putting on a great day at the track. I agree, the weather was as good as it gets. I enjoyed practically having the track to myself, with some new friends of course! Great meeting a bunch of you, checking out others sweet rides, and blasting around in my favorite car that I own, well . . . the only car that I own.
I have tons of pics to go through and process (there all in RAW). I'll post them up when they're ready, hopefully around the weekend.
