Ya, that is about when it came out. Could be 2004. It is an awesome game, and as I mentioned above, there are some great mods for it that include more cars and rallys.

I have the PC version but my laptop sucks too much to play it. Crashes all the time and I have the latest drivers for my ATI9200.
I'm looking for the Xbox NTSC version and can't find it anywhere.

There is also the "WRC" series which is widely popular everywhere else in the world except here is the US. Part 1 was the only version released here in the US for PS2, but its really outdated by now. The Series is now on part 5 (WRC: Evolved), but only in the UK. I did however manage to find an equivalent to WRC: Evolved for the PSP. The game was release in 2005, so its fairly recent. I found a copy used on Amazon for like $20. There were cheaper ones, but I chose one that was still new and included all manuals, etc. The moral of the story is that we are VERY limited to authentic rally racing games here in the US. If you are looking for something to get you by until Jan. 24 when the WRC starts again, try getting your hands on some of those games I mentioned...
