I don't know if this will work but in the old days, when I had electrical problems, they were usually caused by a "dirty" ground connection. Make sure that your battery terminal posts and the clamps that go around them are nice and clean. This is a free and easy thing to do so even though it might not fix anything, a worthwhile attempt!
