What are you wanting to do with the car. Power goals etc will help.

mines is a v8 motor with forged pistons, id1000 injectors, 3" turbo back exhaust, etc.
Someone put forged pistons in it? Brand? Well, a ver8 you have a twin scroll set up. Idk the options you have with swapping for a single scroll. If power isnt sometibg yoir looking for right now just pick up a VF34, 43, 39

youre gonna want a bigger injector size with a 3071/3076 turbo but thats looking at 400 club.

If you want normal daily turbo, my friend seems to like his Blouch 20XTR 330whp reliable on a stock legacy block. There's plenty of options with a motor like that. Just figure out if you want quick spool or top end and then work your way from there.

Personally on a 2.0 daily, I'd look at an 18g.

Swap exhaust manifolds too. If you're on twin scroll still you're limited on set ups. Although the 37 is a nice turbo.

I would stay away from Tomei turbos.

They are not manufactured in Japan anymore.

I have a tomei m7760 on my hybrid setup (so not exactly the same) but I've loved it so far. Due to non-turbo related mechanical issues/limitations when I got tuned, I'm sitting at about 300awhp, but I have a ton of room to push further.

Only issue is I feel it spools just a tad late for a daily driver, and that's with the 2.5 shortblock. However, I used to run a VF-35 on my 2.0L, so that's what I'm comparing it to. Also, my mechanic said it might be a pita to rebuild if it ever needs to be.

tomei is looking at some changes to the turbo so unless it's in stock somewhere, it's not available from tomei. thanks for the info.

I have a Full Race EFR 6758 kit sitting in my shed. ver8 motor being delivered in a couple weeks and if I stick to schedule, it'll be going in the car around New Year's... so I've made my choice =).

Good luck with your choice.
