I want to switch the wiring for the turn signal and the parking light. Can anyone help me do this, possibly tuesday night UCKK?

I want to be able to drive with the parking lights on... thanks

Perhaps nobody wants to do this mod? Can you explain just a bit more? You can drive with only parking lights on now.

Perhaps you aren't following me..

As of now:

I am driving with my low beams( headlights on) and the parking lights are also on by standard. On the EDM projectors, the parking lights are on the top part of the projector headlights and the turn signals are on the bottom.

I would like to:

Drive so that the turn signals on the bottom are reversed to be the parking lights. So thus, the turn signals are now the parking lights...

Still confused?

I think you will just need to cut the appropriate wires and re-splice. The connectors are different and aren't that easy to open up. So if you need to know which wire to cut/splice I would need look at my wiring manual and lights at home.

No, I don't usually go to UCKK anymore and cutting and splicing wires at a cold dark parking lot isn't a lot of fun. I'll try to get you the answer, unless somebody beats me to it.

I think you need to explain it better the first time around... seems you're asking for 2 different things...

how would you increase the amperage of the current driving lights so that they are bright enough to be used as turn signals?

haha man i thought i did explain it better... hmm

I'll figure it out, I assume the wiring could just be reversed, so that the parking light and turn signals swap....

A big problem with this is that you'll have your parking lights bright as hell and they will overpower the brightness of your turn signals, but if that's what you want, grab a DVM figure out which is the hot wire coming out of each plug, cut the how wire for each bulb then grab som heat shink and soldering iron and cross the wires, you cuold also use butt splices<shiver>..

those are actually daytime running lights.

Vip, lemme get this straight. You want the turn signals to be on top where the current "parking/city" lights are right now? Just like the stock bugeye headlights i'm assuming?
