Ok, believe what you read and don't use them.

Everyone has choices.

Wrong again.

Not sure why you're throwing such hostility at me? I have no problem using these sensors and we have installed them in the past. Its a great gauge to have, I just wouldn't necessarily blindly trust the sensor long term if it was set up with a standalone ECU to automatically adjust the tune based solely on the sensor.

FYI, GM did stop using these sensors in their vehicles around 2006. They now rely on an algorithm based on fuel trims to calculate ethanol content on their flex fuel cars. This my have been done to cut costs and complexity though.

there have been cases in many of the bayarea e85 stations having less than 70% content, so check your e85

atleast in every big fill up

I would say a week to 2 weeks max honestly.

The 5 gallon jugs are porous and will allow the alcohol to evaporate over time. If and when I've had to use jugs I do not store longer than a week.

Any self respecting tuner/owner should never put "blind trust" in anything when tuning/tuned for E85.

That is correct. The trim interpolation is "good enough" for very conservative world cars.

Highly tuned double OEM horsepower cars, not so much.
