What kind of power does this car make with those 850 injectors on 91?
We haven't tuned it on 91... Sean actually doesn't have an AP, he just runs E85 at all times.

I would imagine this car would put down around 280whp on 91.

Here's another E-85 car we did last night. This is an 04 WRX with a VF34, STI TMIC, DW850cc injectors, Walbro, Catless TBE, and MBC.

We tuned this on E85 in about 40F weather. This engine has over 100k miles on it, so the customer decided to keep it on the conservative side with only 20psi peak boost. Even then, this is just awesome power for the relatively basic setup (stock intake and inlet!). Its also some great torque for a 2.0l. Gotta love the E85!

subie OCD 12-09-2009 04:28 PM

Damn major power on the 2.0L

stg2lgcy00 12-09-2009 05:20 PM

Awesome #'s for a 2.0

I would totally get tuned for the E85 if it was available everywhere.

LOL_VTEC 12-09-2009 06:43 PM

I still can't belive we made that power on the mild side. I recomend everyone to get e85 and go to Ed at EQ Tunning. Loving the power! Just want to thank the Eq crew for working hard on the car and Ed for another great tune!! These guys just got a customer for life.

Thanks Eric! I'm very happy you're enjoying the power. I'm putting some 850's in my car today so I can enjoy the corn juice ;)

^ any word on my custom exhaust Ed? I would love to get his going asap!

so for E85 you just need huge injectors? Is that it, or are they other mods that have to be done?

And what type of mpg's do you get driving "normal"

and a bigger fuel pump obv but other than that i think that is it.

EQ Tuning 12-10-2009 02:23 PM

Yep, mainly just larger injectors. For bigger setups, you may start maxxing out the fuel pump, so that would be needed as well in those cases.

To do it correctly, the entire fuel system needs to be "E85-proofed".
