Droid Guru's! HEEELLLPPP!

I have a stock Motorola Droid with all of the updates that download automatically. Tonight my phone was working fine, I checked the time... then 5 minutes later the screen wasn't on BUT the backlight and keyboard light was. I took the battery out to see if that would fix it but now the only thing that pops up is the "M" logo, which stays to the left side of the screen with the keyboard lights functioning. I searched for the issue and attempted to get to the boot page but it will not go past the "M" logo. I tried a "hard reset" but it still will not move past the M logo... the only thing the screen ever shows is the "M" logo off to the left side.

Any suggestions will be really appreciated because I would like a functioning phone for the holiday...

Thanks everyone.

-Rob

power off the phone, then while its turning on hold the x and the power button together until you get to recovery mode. From there you will be able to wipe the phone to like new, gonna lose all of your apps, settings and preferences but your phone will be working again. Hope that helps

Oh and Merry Christmas

The new droids are terrible, there is a crazy rebooting problem that plain and simply wouldn't be addressed. Friend had to gave his back and went back to sprint because they refused to help him or make it right.

I've had it for over a year with no problems. It is the original Motorola Droid. I'll have to take it in tomorrow since there seems to be no way to fix it. Efff

I haven't had any problems with my D2. Occasional lock screen reset, but nothing major.

Update:

I got the phone into the bootloader screen which apparently is not the same as recovery mode and it says....

Bootloader
2c.7c

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

IDK what to do from there... but google is giving me some answers.

What do you want to do? Flash your phone?

If so, you need the flash file, probably a .sbf file, RSD Lite, Moto drivers, and yeah.

If you want to get into recovery, you hold another key. I think it is X and power up. It is either the up key, or the x key. You know when you get to recovery when you get the triangle with the ! in it. From there, press the magnifying glass key on your keyboard to get to recovery.
