I don't see how 1 bottle a month is that bad. There are people out there drinking 3 bottles of Vodka a day. A few drinks here and there is all good IMO. If it makes you miss work then that is a different story, but from the sound of it, it doesn't look like it does. No worries

 

No way its just part of your culture. Its the same way with my russian friends

 

At my prime i could drink a fifth of rum just being at a party....

its all about handle thursdays with me and my friends! if we don't finish the handle we didn't have a good night! and ur only allowed 2 people handle!

 

Drinking is hella fun, but if its affecting your life in a negative way (ie-can't pay bills, DUI's, cant get a job or lose your job, etc) then its a problem.

a little bit of alcohol is good for your body, which is why a lot of doctors recommend a glass of wine everyday. I doubt a bottle of vodka in a month = alcoholic.

However, my friends like to say... alcoholic = drinking alone

Where I'm from beer is cheaper then water, and EVERYONE drinks regardless of age or anything... I'm referring to Germany and Croatia.

When we came here it was a huge culture shock for a lot of reasons, one of them being the drinking laws and crap.

I wanted to post here to see your guys' views on this... I couldn't believe that someone thought that consuming 1.5 liters of quality in the period of a month or longer automatically made an alcoholic according to them! :huh:

I know guys that drink whole bottles and some in a single sitting and they are fine.

I usually do frozen vodka as it feels really nice and tastes smooth and good... Or I'll add a splash of cold pineapple juice. Its def not something I need, but heps my appetite.

It's just funny, the culture differences from places like Germany where beer is cheaper then water (no joke).

I can't believe some of you guys sort of sided with my strait edge friends... 30oz in over a month = alcoholic? Come on now... you have to be kidding me! I know guys that do that in a sitting at a bar!

Keep in mind that I'm 6'6.5!!!

 

yeah... maybe your friends are trippin cuz it's hard alcohol. but one shot is the same as a bottle of beer and that's the same as a glass of wine. sooo if your friend drinks a beer everyday with dinner or what have you... they are on the same boat as you

 

I say that you are an alky, and now must hand ober all of your weapons to me Seriously like a drink a day is nothing, it's when you gotta get hammed and don't give a rip anymore and that is all you think about. Then I would say there is a problem, vodka that is good quality will get your blood pumping which is good for digesting food
