im guessing you hit the back button or pressed refresh when the page was taking a minute while it was charging your card. i think it has happened to us all once or twice. just go into the bank and talk to your favorite teller, they should be able to stop payment or atleast start the charge reversal.

that sucks. not a bad idea to have a separate account for paypal use. Just dont forget to transfer money into the account before sending and overdraft like i did haha

Ok, I called paypal thismorning and they saw the double payment so they should stop one of them from going through, if not I'll go to my bank.

dont call the bank. paypal will charge your account reguardless. they will refund the money into your paypal account which usually takes a couple days. you will then have to have it sent back to the bank if thats where you want the money put which takes another couple of days. paypal has some pretty major flaws in its system. if you go to the bank and have them unsend the original money, paypal will take that money out of your paypal account and you will have a negative balance and be left unable to use paypal until you pay your balance.
