if anyone wants to do their console area w cupholders good luck. You will have to cut the fabric and do a seem or stitch somewhere.

maybe it's just me, but the center console in Alcantra looks kind of weird and out of place.

I know on Apple's version of power point (keynote) you can export it as a video.

To each his own. I just can't imagine what I'd do if I spilt something in a cupholder surrounded by Alcantra

Yeah, I'm a function over form kind of guy. I'll do the door cards when I have some time, but the cup holders, those things who's sole existence is to hold cups, wont be alcantra covered

Yeah I was just bored with the ugly cheapo plastic in the sti interior. I know the cars not a gt3 or lambo or ferrari so its sorta silly but, my center console and shifter trim area looks pretty awesome too me. Ill post pics when its all back in and then decide if you think it looks bad, heh.

It's not real alcantara, and its also really easy to clean. Plus nobody needs to buy drinks in my car. I only have 8k on it so it doesn't see to much driving, and no need for spillage, but worse case i'd have to redo it with the abudance of fabric I have. But ya really easy to clean.

I cut mine behind where the shifter trim would end, then I did the rest with a new piece and cutout the cupholders. It looked awesome but I needed the black stitch in that 1 spot, well its going to be full hidden stitch so it will be even cooler than I hoped for. The hvac I can understand people really not liking, but for some reason I do.
