I had this time we were in a robinson 22r coming back from napa. We landed at concord.... I went to throotle up and adjust some pitch. We had about 5 feet from the skids to the ground and lost the motor.
We had a hard landing... But damn few seconds before would have had a differant outcome as we were flying over the delta.
I dont think I'll ever really want to auto rotate.. We practiced that alot... But... I'll pass. kissed the ground after I put my kidneys back into place...
Funny talking to the tower about it... They were like WTH.... Why you guys chilling... Oh wait why is my 22r seem shorter..... hahaha..

not enough for an auto rotate, or even time for it...
but as the old saying goes... any landing you walk away from, is a good landing...

I hate Helios.. I refuse to ever step foot in one as long as I live. Waaaay too much crap that can go wrong.
