Don't Go to Big O

So, here is the deal. My car was pulling to the left so I decided to drive to big on on Sat to get it done. Because the dealership is swamped on the wkends..Well, I get my car about about noon and my ABS LIGHT IS ON,RIGHT DRIVER SIDE TIRE IS FLAT. My caps are missing. I am thinking to myself what the fluck did they do to my car. I talk to the manager and he tells me to bring it back because in all hiS 25years as a ABS SENSOR BIG O EXPERT THIS HAS NEVER HAPPEND. Now do i have jackass written across my face..I am going to let you work on it again..Hell no. So monday i take it to the dealers and they tell me you should have brought it here..I said I know but i didnt have time..Well this was a costly mistake...$105 for them to look at(not covered under warrenty) $150 for the part 231 to install the part..I almost fainted..

..Apparently big O snap something on my the left drivers side tire..O great now i have to dispute this with them. Call the manager again monday eve to tell him about paying the repair bill..He says bring the car back let me look at it and lets go from there..Ok i will work with you mr 25yr expert..so i take the car in..Those flunkies snap the wire to the abs sensor, align my car under a forester instead of wrx. Apparently they dont have the specs for a 03 wrx..so why in the hell did they align the car you ask...

so, now they want to repair the damage..i am like ummm no credit me back/pay for my parts and I will never return ..hows that? so, please never take your car to those flunkies..If you work their..i apologize!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok enough stress for today...happy 4th.

Obviously Big O is at fault... getting $ compensation out them will be super hard, I'd imagine.

I know this won't help much now but, from what you are saying, the ABS fix sounds like a simple repair. Next time ask on the forum before you take it in the rear at the dealership. Also, your post doesn't say, but I'm guessing you told the dealership how all this happened. For future reference just tell them the symptoms. Giving more information than you need to (like its vicariously your own fault because you chose to go to Big O) will just give them ammo to bypass the warranty.

BIG-O, the last time I took a vehicle there (my first car), they f**ked it up so bad, (that was nearly 8-9 years ago). For me, all I was having done, was a tire rotation/balance....well, a few weeks later I got a flat, so I took the car back to them to get a new tire, about an hour after I dropped the car off I get a phone call saying that they cant get the lug nuts off, and they had BROKEN/welded MY lug nut key 3 times and STILL couldnt get the lugs off! they tightened my lug nuts sooooo tight (the first time) they ended up having to use an air chisel to get the lugs off, and when they FINALLY were able to get 'em off, their air chisel had busted one of the actual LUGS! OH MAN I was sooooooooooo pissed, I almost went postal on their asses!

They ended up paying for the damages, because I had records of the last 2 visits to their shop, and it was obvious that THEY were at fault.......needless to say I have not been back since then....

FYI, that was at the BIG-O in Fremont (Fremont Blvd I think)....anyways....I will NEVER go back there, even if they are the LAST tire place on earth.......

BIG-O TIRES!!!!!!!
