Does anyone know anything about this car?

STEVENS CREEK PREOWNED (408) 984-5678 | 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX

Found this on Craigslist, and although the price is way too high, it looks like a clean car. There are a few things that bother me on the carfax that is provided, so...I was hoping that maybe someone here could give me a little insight, on the previous owner.
Thanks-

Yeah, but when you look at the carfax, it has a possible mileage issue. 6000 miles in 6 years. My first thought was a swapped cluster, which would make it a really over priced high mileage car.

I'm calling BS. Theres no way that car has that low of miles. Who was the previous owner? They obviously have modded the car and I would put money on them swapping the cluster.

Grill, shaved trunk. Chances are high it was a swapped cluster. Takes 5mins to do. Not worth the risk!

Yeah, and I see a water spray button too.
It really seems fishy. The second owner even commented on the carfax, about possible trans damage due to being highly modified. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees red flags all over on this one, and I haven't even seen it in person!

And just judging from the wear on that steering wheel, I'd say it has covered more than 41k

Shifter rod does look short, looks like maybe a kb short shifter unit, but no 6spd.

Well, my '05 Sti had 18k when I sold it this last March, and those were legit. So, I'm not too concerned with the fact that someone can put so few miles on their car, my only issue is with the actual carfax report, IDK how a dealer could even take it in with that, even if it was a damn good story. As for the mods, it looks like someone had good taste. You always have to assume that the previous owner beat the car, I would just like to hear from a po, to get a real feel for what the true story is here. The dealer doesn't know anymore than my mom does about these cars lol
