Cool, I haven't updated to 3.1.2 yet because I wasn't sure there was a working jailbreak yet.

I'd rather put the $20 into my bank account . And no one has answered my question yet. I was asking if I tether my droid via wifi not 3G, will I be charged for it? I know Verizon has tethering plans and how much they cost but that wasn't the question. I guess I could just call up Verizon but I don't really feel like it .

Just came across this article on C|Net.com, looks like Sprint FTMFW, least expensive unlimited data with voice option. Also explains a lil bit about tethering, thus being germain to this thread.

I'd been considering a jump to VZW for a Droid OS phone, but not if its gonna cost me an additional $50/mo and I'm locked in for 2 years. Will stick with my $70 Sprint plan that meets my needs, and wait for a Droid 2.0 update to the HTC Hero. Then buy the phone used and flip my Treo Pro to cover the cost of the Hero.

I have been curious about this as well. I have a Droid but I'm considering selling it or turning it back in and dumping my plan back down to a regular plan and picking up the network wifi box from verizon. Then I could have internet at home.

Only thing I don't get is my internet package on the droid is $30 and with the wifi card it's $60 and you have 5mb max. That's retarded.
