So who likes cops? I know from time to time there are stories posted up about people getting upset at the police, but does that make you hate them all and forever? Yes there can be bad apples, but that is a part of almost every profession almost anywhere, and should those few bad ones make you hate the rest?

From my point of view its not fair to hate cops for pulling you over for something you did wrong (speeding, illegal mods ect ect). If you’re doing something wrong, or have done something to your car, you should know it’s a risk that you could be pulled over for it and the cops shouldn’t be the ones to blame.

It's true that there are some bad ones. Power trippers, bad days, etc. Are they all bad? NO. They are doing a job that 90% of the country doesn't have the spine or testicular fortitude to do.

The fact that some juvenile mid 30's ex military brO with a mental capacity of a potato hates them is NOT a reflection of the majority of us. By us I mean IQ over 20, maturity, careers and/or college degrees, etc.

Cops are people. So no, I don't trust them all.

 

As long as the cop is polite and courteous while doing his job I have no problem. I get annoyed when cops, or anyone in a position of power, thinks they can treat you badly. Just do your job and try to treat people respectfully.

 

i voted other, i go into every encounter with the police being as nice and respectful as possible and hope for the best. ive had some bad experiences with cops(trying to force me into letting them search my car, telling me my ar15 is illegal and trying to take me to jail, making us pull everything out of the band van and tore through all of our stuff and threw it all over the side of the rode and literally said "**** off" got in their cars and left, spent 10hrs cuffed to a chair because i refused to talk without a lawyer present, ect, ect, ect)

i wouldnt say i hate cops but for the most part i have had nothing but negative experiences with them and do whatever i can to avoid them/ not cooperate with them.

 

Its there job, to catch ALL of us being dipS***s...weather we like it or not. Theyre not going anywhere..

That said, Dont like how some of them abuse the power of the badge. But if your being a little punk to them they will do it right back to you. Ive been a skater since middle school and have run into law inforcement TONS of times. Not once was My friends or I "messed" with. Maybe its just luck?!... lolll

 

The problem is when the people you describe ARE the cops. I don't mind most police, but I am sure most of us have had encounters with cops who are nothing more than arrogant ******. I wonder what they are like without their gun and badge

More of they are there so don't **** up...some cops are dicks though so id lean more towards the hate side

After having been on both sides, either helping officers or being investigated by officers, I don't really have any problems with them. My only gripe I have with any given officer is when one decides to (blatantly) follow me for a long period of time/distance and NOT pull me over. **** or get off the pot dude.

I don't hate all cops but 90% of the ones I've come across are *******s with something to prove to the world.

 

There should be a better spectrum but this pole is more satirical due to other threads more than anything.
