My cat sprayed for 2 years straight and only when we went on vacation and returned would he do it. At age 3 we neutered him and it actually did help tremendously.

 

Exterior only FULL DETAIL w.clay, polish, polymer sealant, and 3 coats wax...$200. That begins at 7am and ends at 7pm.

Yeah, you only use the detergent wash when your doing the steps I listed. For regular washing you want to use car wash soap that won't strip away the wax or in your case the clearcoat. If done proper, you'll only need to wax your car 2 to 3 times a year.

 

My son is 15 yrs old and one of his chores is to wash my wifes car...mine too once in a while when he's in trouble. I wash it and he dries em, then I inspect to make sure all windows are wiped clean in and out.. Once again, the use of an air hose to blow away water around the headlights, tail lights, door jams, trunk...works great in drying the wheels and engine bay.
